Mark is serving his third term as the Mayor of North Beach, having served previously from 1998 – 2006. During his time as mayor, he was elected to the MML Board of Governors and as President of the Maryland Municipal League from 2003 – 2004. He has also served two terms on the Board of Calvert County Commissioners: 1986 – 1990 and 1994 – 1998.
Mark’s emphasis in this administration will be to hold the line on property taxes, reduce the presence of drugs in town, and create a vibrant small-business community and inviting waterfront and beach. He looks forward to a strong and positive working relationship with the Council. |
